Kenya Sumter was born in Syracuse, and starting from a young age, Kenya loved stories, creating some of her own from her imagination.

It wasn’t until she was 15 years old that she discovered she wanted to act and make music as she started to pick up instruments such as guitar and bass and act in her school’s theater productions.

NY and moved to New York City in 2021 to pursue entertainment and modeling. Ever since she has managed to slowly break into her first movie role as Shirin/Louise in the short film NickCam.

She also made her theater debut in the theater production of A Sketch of New York playing various roles. Kenya has also broken into modeling making her runway debut for the Creation Gang company, and walking for the Wisehustlers brand.
